Meet outside the Parliament Visitor Centre, collect your ticket, and follow a 45-minute audio tour through the Main Staircase, Assembly Hall, Hall of the Dome, and Crown Jewels. Your downloadable audio guide also covers Kossuth Square and its memorials. A host helps with entry, but there is no live guide inside.
“The tour itself takes 45 minutes. You meet the guide outside the entrance and they get your tickets, explain about going through security, etc. Then you are given headsets where you can pick your language. There is a WC right before you enter. Since I picked the day the taxis were on strike and had already walked a lot (!) there was an elevator to take me up the 4 floors. I was able to walk down just fine. The guides themselves were very kind! While the tour is fairly short the history and building are amazing. As an older, solo traveler, I was pleased I had chosen this!”
